TESTIMONIALS

"I couldn’t do any kind of paid work. I am a wife of a herder and that is my life but now I can help our family. I am making handicrafts. I never knew how to make them before but the ladies in the co-op taught me how to make them. At first I didn’t make them well but by the end of the summer, I was able to sell some nice pieces.  I am so proud that I have been able to bring money home to help feed my family."

Sale of Mongolian Handicrafts support local community programs

Fiat works with Mongolian handicraft co-ops to create beautiful embroidered bags which are purchased by Fiat and sold in the US to raise funds for programs we help to support in Mongolia. The women employed by the co-op have no other means of household income, by purchasing the bags we help to support women, children and families who would ortherwise live in poverty.

dedicated to enriching and empowering
 impoverished communities in Western Mongolia.

BUILDING SCHOOLS

Fiat Charities' main focus is starting kindergartens in Western Mongolia.  We work alongside communities to provide early education of children 3-6 years old.  Our programs are designed by the individual needs of the village and are intended to provide short term assistance until the school is self reliant.
